One of the places that are of greatest cultural impact is certainly the visit to the archaeological excavations of Pompeii, which since 1997 has become part of the heritage of humanity of the UNESCO.
These excavations have reunited us with the ancient city of Pompeii where all the remains were buried under a blanket of ashes and lapillus during the eruption of Vesuvius in 79.
During the tour you can see testimonies of Roman life, as it is the best-preserved city of that era to this day.
It will be an exciting experience to walk through the streets of Ancient Pompeii, a journey back in time of up to 2000 years ago!
Visiting the excavations of Pompeii you can admire the testimonies of history through the most of the recovered finds (in addition to simple furnishings of daily use also frescoes, mosaics and statues)
During the day I will be happy to accompany you to taste a DOC wine made from the land of the Vesuvius known as Lacryma Christi that was formerly produced by the monks whose convent is stood on the slopes of Vesuvius, later the Jesuit Fathers became the only producers of this precious wine.
The tour ends the last scheduled stage: Vesuvius.
I will be happy to accompany you on the road to the foot of the volcano and then I will show you the short journey on foot that will lead you to the mouth of Mount Vesuvius, its crater.
Once you reach the top you can admire one of the most beautiful views with great pleasure of our coast.
At the end of your tour the driver will take you to your accommodation
