Naples is and remains a volcano of emotions...

It is true that it stands near the volcano Vesuvius, however this is not considered a city, which is cracking ...

Try to imagine a city that is more than 2800 years old with so much art, History and culture not to mention so much life! It is easy to say that it was one of the most important cities of Magna Graecia, home of the epicurean school, capital of the Kingdom of Naples and capital of the Kingdom of the two Sicilies, still today one of the cardinal cities of the West.

So much history has led Naples to be the guardian of numerous religious and non-religious monuments, among the best known we can mention the Certosa di San Martino, the Basilica of Santa Chiara, the church of San Gennaro. Furthermore, the beautiful Spaccanapoli, piazza Plebiscito, the Palazzo Reale, the Maschio Angioino, Castel Nuovo, the Fontana del Gigante. The list is still long, there is so much to see, it would be terrible to mention all the names and not visit them!

To continue the list of the uniqueness of Naples let’s not forget the legendary Pulcinella, traditional Pizza, Neapolitan music, the Neapolitan theater, the nativity crib, the tarantella, the mandolin, the tombola ( a Christmas game ), the Neapolitan grimace, the lucky horn and the munaciello, all peculiarities of a city full of special emotions to share with those who have the pleasure of visiting it.

Amongst the most particular days that envelop Naples with a different scenery is certainly the 19th of September, the day in which the fete of the patron saint is celebrated and for this very heartfelt anniversary Neapolitans expect "The miracle of San Gennaro", testimony of religious devotion of the people and love for this saint.

Naples, in addition to possessing a historical, monumental, artistic, archaeological and heritage cultural world-wide, it also has an immense naturalistic heritage, so much so that on this distinctive element gave birth to the famous saying «See Naples and then die» (cit.Goethe)

The city has numerous historic gardens and parks open to the public. The park of Capodimonte expands over 134 acres of green that surrounds several eighteenth-century buildings and in particular its palace.

Other green spaces of the city are the Villa Comunale di Napoli, the Parco Vergiliano in Piedigrotta, the Floridiana villa, the real botanical garden, the regional park of Campi Flegrei.

A particularly evocative view is offered by the Virgiliano park in Posillipo, located in a position so perfect that it allows you to observe the entire bay of Naples in one glance.
