Pompei - Wine tasting - Lunch

As soon you’ll be out of the ship you’ll find our english speaking driver waiting for you with a sign with your name and our logo on. Generally the pick up time is about 08:00am and back to the port about 17:00. During your tour the driver will take you to your chosen destination and he’ll tell you tips and informations about the area and of course you will have the opportunity to take your photo shoots from the best panoramic points.

One of our stops of greatest cultural impacts is certainly the visit to the archaeological excavations of Pompeii that from 1997 has become part of the UNESCO human heritage. These excavations have re-given us all the remains of the ancient, buried city of Pompeii left under a blanket of ashes and lapilli during the eruption of Vesuvius in 79.

During the tour you will see the testimonies of Roman life, as for today it is the best-preserved city of that era.

It will be an exciting experience to walk through the streets of Ancient Pompeii, a journey back in time dating up to 2000 years ago!

Visiting the archaeological sites of Pompeii you can admire the testimonies of the history through most of the recovered finds (as well as simple utensils of daily use also frescoes, mosaics and statues).

During the day I will be happy to accompany you to taste a DOC wine made from the land of the Vesuvius known as Lacryma Christi that was formerly produced by the monks hose convent is stood on the slopes of Vesuvius, later the Jesuit Fathers became the only producers of this precious wine.

To make this excursion unique, you will have lunch with typical Campania products in a charming restaurant and I assure you it will be unforgettable!!!

At the end of your tour the driver will take you back to your ship or hotel.
